Rehearsals:
Sound Sectionals – Monday: 3:30 – 4:30 (CA 1080)

Sound Leadership – Wednesday: 3:30 – 4:30 (CA 1080)

Sound Mass Rehearsal – Wednesday: 7:00-8:30 (Trask Coliseum)
UNCW HawkLine - Thursday: 7:00-9:00

All Sound members are expected to practice music on their own in order to be ready for rehearsals and performances.

If we are scheduled to perform in other venues, the rehearsals may be held separate from regularly scheduled practice.

In addition to rehearsals and performing at home games, The Sound is required to perform at community events, CAA tournament (at the beginning and end of Spring Break), hold fundraisers, and participate in holiday games.

Please note this is a part-time position that Sound Members hold in addition to school and work schedules.   We will work with everyone, but your attendance and dedication will effect if you are selected for Tournament, seat based trips and scholarships.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Many scholarships are available to students, regardless of major.  They are based on the attendance and dedication of the students.

The amount that is given per year is decided by the new council in the spring before the year starts.

GAME ATTIRE

Sound Members should wear the shirt/polo/jersey that is provided by UNCW Athletics and khaki pants. Female members, it is recommended to wear makeup in colors that flatter your skin tone. A polished, well-groomed look is recommended from everyone.  There will be photos taken at all events and we want you looking at your best.
