As of spring semester in 2005, the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association became UNCW's premiere student organization developed for students interested in the field of veterinary medicine.  Our objectives are:

1.) to provide an opportunity through which students interested in this field may meet and gain a better understanding of the profession,

2.) to provide an opportunity for students interested in veterinary medicine to share their experiences and interests in their chosen profession, and

3.) to provide experiences and opportunities to augment  the academic pursuit of a career in veterinary medicine, including opportunities for community services.
