Requirements of Joining SGA:
- All members of the Student Government Association must maintain a current or cumulative grade point average of 2.5. Members are not allowed to currently be on probation and must not have been deemed ineligible to run or be appointed to office by legislative decree.
- If a member is terminated or asked to resign due to excessive absences, then he/she shall not be able to be appointed to the SGA Body for one academic year. The Student Body Vice President shall keep a record of resignations that must be passed to the successor.
Duties of a SGA Member:
- All Representatives of the Student Government Association must serve on at least one legislative or executive committee during their term.
- All Representatives must also serve a minimum of one office hour per week.
- All Representatives must do a minimum of five approved community service hours per semester.
