Duties of Committee, as stated in the Constitution:
1. Shall be responsible for conducting all aspects of SGA elections.
2. The committee chair shall be one of the six permanent members of the Elections Board, and shall be chosen by majority vote within the committee. The committee chair shall serve as a non-voting member of the EBC. In the event of a tie within the EBC, the committee chair shall cast the deciding vote.
3. Shall consist of (3) SGA members and (3) non-SGA members. Members of the Elections Board shall be selected from a pool of applicants, prior to the Fall semester of each academic year.
4. Applicants shall be recommended by the Election Board Advisor and the Senior Class President, and shall be subject to approval of two thirds of the Legislative Body upon recommendation.
5. Upon appointment to the EBC, members are prohibited from becoming a candidate in any elections planned by the EBC during their time on the committee.
6. Shall be responsible for creating voter empowerment among students and to hold voter registration drives on campus in order to create a greater student involvement in all elections.
7. Shall be formed prior to the end of the second SGA Legislative Body during the Fall Semester of each academic year.
