Pledge Requirements

To pledge in Beta Alpha Psi, you must declare a concentration in Accounting (ACG), Business Analytics (BAN), Finance (FIN), and/or Management Information Systems (MIS).

You must also be enrolled in or have completed at least one upper-level Accounting (ACG), Business Analytics (BAN), Finance (FIN), or Management Information Systems (MIS) core course. (300-level or higher).

GPA Requirements:

Attain a cumulative GPA in your declared concentration of at least 3.0 AND meet one of the following:

• Attain at least an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Have achieved a rank within the top 35% of your university class
• Have attained at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA on the most recent 30 semester hours

Note: Faculty advisors are the only ones who see this.

If you are an MSA student, you automatically meet the requirements to pledge.

Induction Requirements

To be inducted into Beta Alpha Psi, you MUST pledge for 2 semesters by paying dues and doing all required below.

Attendance Requirements:

• Attend AT LEAST 5 technical/professional meetings per semester.
• Attend 1 tutoring session per semester (as a tutor, not as a student).
• Attend 1 social event per semester:
• RSM Golf Links
• Volleyball Social
• Game Night with SFA
• Attend 2 service events per semester:
• Cards for Hospitalized Kids
• Food Bank
• Book Drive

Pay Dues

Payment Options:

• Option 1: Pay $120 for two semesters
• Option 2: 1st Semester = Pay $75, 2nd Semester = $55
