To be inducted into the fraternity, during one academic year a pledge must
actively participate by:

• Attend 10-15 technical/professional meetings and seminars – a max of 5 hours can be non-BAP
• Participate in 10-15 hours of community service (including at least 5 hours of tutoring) – a max of 5 hours can be non-BAP
• Total professional and community service hours must exceed 24 hours
• Attend two social activities
• Be an active member of a Beta Alpha Psi committee
  

In order to maintain an active membership each year after the pledge semester,
currently enrolled students must:

• Attend five technical/professional meetings and seminars
• Attend one social event
• Participate in five hours of community service (including 2.5 hours of tutoring)
• Be an active member of a Beta Alpha Psi committee

***Note - all coursework and GPA requirements are evaluated as of the end of the fall 2009 semester***
