About Us

What is an Ambassador?

As Student Ambassadors, our purpose is to serve as the official host of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington during special events. We are an enthusiastic group that promotes the "UNCW" way to students Past, Present, and Future. We are an elite group of students representing the best of the very best. Our primary duties and services include working with the Chancellor, the Alumni Association, UNCW Advancement, UNCW Admissions, the community, and prospective and current students; ultimately, volunteering our time and energy to promoting and serving the University.

How do I become an Ambassador?

Feel free to email us at or check us out at the Involvement Carnival in August! The Membership process begins in the Fall semester and is completed in the Spring semester. We hold multiple information sessions in the Fall semester to learn more. Click on the Members Area for tentative membership process related dates and a link to the application.
