>A child selector selects a specific element of a child where descendant can select child of child. This concept was new to me. After researching this topic I found what makes the most sense to me. Someone described the Child Selector as an "immediate descendant" where as Descaendant can be any element that is descended like "Bobby and his great-grandad".
